I ordered a refrigerator one week ago. Just received an email stating that they could not process my order because I did not have an alternate shipping address on file with the credit card company.

My credit card has a billing address (which is used to validate the card). The shipping address (physical address) is also on file. Appliance Connection is trying to make me provide a copy of my I.D. I them to just run the credit card and not to worry about fraud - that is my business and my banks.

This is the first time I have had a problem like this. The customer service representative (Gary) was rude and condescending.

I will never shop with them again. After reading the reviews, I am surprised they have any customers at all.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1900.
