Appliances Connection went bankrupt. I guess I lost $40. In the general scene of life, it is not a lot of money, but I could have donated that money to someone who really needed it. I am grateful that my appliances arrived before they closed their door.

I was told in the phone call to be home from 10 AM to 3 PM for delivery of my wash machine and dryer and removal all the old ones when you waited all day not even a phone call or email to let us know about the delivery. Please inform us what to do next.

No installation assistance and no customer service post purchase

DI have received no support for the product since it has arrived. There was initial confusion about whether the product I ordered had been delivered.

After many calls and emails to no avail, eventually a customer service person called to assure me it was the correct product. Unfortunately there was no installation kit included and I was referred to a warranty which did not cover installation but only the compressor. The ice maker has not worked since it was installed and I get the same response from them, call Frigidaire not our problem.

I should never have purchased from an online store and this one in particular had awful reviews, but I decided to go ahead despite them.

I learned an expensive and frustrating lesson. Trust the reviews!

Haven't received my order

I placed an order for some microwaves. Should have been delivered already? Can't get anybody to answer the phone. I need someone to call me today at 985-662-**** The call could not be completed due to technical difficulties. Please try your call again. This is the message that I get when I call. And it rings and rings and rings, and finally goes to this. If someone does not contact me by the end of business today, I will be reporting you to the better business bureau.

$14,000 Viking refrigerator does not work. Can't get service.

I purchased a $14,000 Viking refrigerator from Appliances Connection on January 19, 2024 with the understanding that it would be delivered and professionally installed within 10 days. It was not installed until much later and the crew that installed it were not professional. The refrigerator has NEVER worked. I can't get anyone to fix it. Horrible company.

Order status

I ordered dishwasher online in February. I never received confirmation of order etc.. I contacted customer service via email and phone. I spoke to someone who stated they were processing the order and confirmed I did indeed order the dishwasher. It was supposed to be shipped and received by March 1st.. I tried calling them and got no response as well as email with no response. I just found out they are permanently closed. But I believe they were paid by my financial credit account. I can't get to speak with them. So I'm perplexed as to the next step to take

Failure to Deliver on date

Long story short: ordered fridge for tenants (the fridge in the house died) on Monday. Paid for express ship, set up & removal.

Received notification fridge to be delivered Friday. Received call from shipping company on Thursday stating they were going to deliver the fridge in an hour. Tenants at work so unable to accept. Told the man on the phone it was scheduled for Friday.

He hung up and no fridge was delivered on Friday. Tenant took the day off and now have no fridge. They call shipper on Friday afternoon & are informed that the truck supposedly broke down. No one called from shipper to reschedule so on Monday they call shipper again and are informed that they sent the fridge back to the NJ warehouse.

So now I call Appliances Connection directly and tell them what happened. I am told that AC emailed the shipping company and have yet to hear back. I will need to wait until tomorrow. I explained that this is unacceptable & that we paid extra for the express shipping and they just basically blew off the delivery when we were unable to accept it a day early (unplanned/unscheduled, no call day before or anything).

The delivery clearly was at their convenience. AC rep said they could refund us the $70 express ship fee but nothing further could be offered. The whole point is we ordered and paid for a service so that our tenants would not have to live more than a week without a fridge. Still no fridge & no idea when it will actually be there.

Someone is going to have to take yet another day off from work to receive it. They need to do better than this. It is really hard to live without a fridge in the summer.

The absolute lack of follow up on the delivery is abominable given that their customer service is open 7 days a week. They had several phone numbers to call- tenants & ours- crickets!

I ordered a new Speed Queen washer and dryer set on 8/3/23 and on 8/23 was told the the earliest delivery would be 8/31. ApplianceConnection said they could not do anything because AM Home Delivery delivered when they wanted to and it was beyond their control. CAN YOU WAIT 1 MONTH FOR YOUR DELIVERY?

Purchased a Whirlpool microwave which was delivered damaged. The box was left in my living room with the damaged side concealed (shame on me for not checking the whole box).

A few weeks later upon installation, noticed there was a huge dent in the item. AP is charging me $99 to return the product, claiming I accepted delivery. I've purchased many items from AP (stove, laundry center) & always had great service but this is unacceptable. It may not seem like a lot of money but because they are not giving me a full refund, I will no longer purchase anything from them.

So for $99, AP has lost a customer. Hope it was worth.

Damage to my 7K Freezer

I previously ordered a refrigerator from this company with no problems. We then ordered the matching freezer in October 2021.

First attempt of delivery in November we had to refuse, as the upright unit weights 400 lbs and they sent 1 man with not even a dolly--there's no way this could be moved into our house and we only have 2 steps into the kitchen. I was patient at first with the delivery time, as I know there are employment shortages across the board. After numerous calls that took literally hours of being on hold, to retrace where the unit went when it was taken away, I finally figured out that they switched freight companies. Victor (a manager of some sort at AC), after speaking to him once, would not answer calls or emails to help get my delivery rescheduled properly.

I had to make numerous other phone calls and emails to try and get my freezer delivered. Finally, in January, it arrived. After unpacking and putting in place, it was noticed that there were several dings and dents on the door. Delivery personnel took pics and I did as well.

Was told someone from freight company would call me--they did and told me I had to contact the seller about the damage. After trying to call them numerous times, I emailed their generic help address, to which I received a Ticket No. and numerous "auto replies" stating they received my email and would be in contact in 24-72 hours. At first they did actually contact me only to say they needed pics of damage and Serial No.

plate, which I promptly sent. After a week, I emailed again and, after waiting another week for a response, was asked again for the Serial No. plate. Again, I sent it a second time.

And yet again, I sent it a third time. Now I can't get any response, only auto replies that say--we'll be in touch. At first my complaint was the damage of appearance. However, after only have the unit a month, it's making loud noises and I now believe there may be mechanical damage as well.

Very frustrating to be ignored. I will be filing a complaint with my Attorney General.

This is NOT a warranty issue. Damage occurred during transport to my home.

Before purchasing a pool cover I called the company to give description, dimensions and location of steps. The man on the phone gave me a part number and told me that was the one I needed. After spending $820 and having all information on hand I was convinced they had sent me the correct one. Well, think again, I received the top and the steps were in the wrong side. I called them and they are taking no responsibility for their mistake. The company is charging me 20% restocking fee if I return it and I have to pay $145.00 shipping to send it back.
