Damage to my 7K Freezer

I previously ordered a refrigerator from this company with no problems. We then ordered the matching freezer in October 2021.

First attempt of delivery in November we had to refuse, as the upright unit weights 400 lbs and they sent 1 man with not even a dolly--there's no way this could be moved into our house and we only have 2 steps into the kitchen. I was patient at first with the delivery time, as I know there are employment shortages across the board. After numerous calls that took literally hours of being on hold, to retrace where the unit went when it was taken away, I finally figured out that they switched freight companies. Victor (a manager of some sort at AC), after speaking to him once, would not answer calls or emails to help get my delivery rescheduled properly.

I had to make numerous other phone calls and emails to try and get my freezer delivered. Finally, in January, it arrived. After unpacking and putting in place, it was noticed that there were several dings and dents on the door. Delivery personnel took pics and I did as well.

Was told someone from freight company would call me--they did and told me I had to contact the seller about the damage. After trying to call them numerous times, I emailed their generic help address, to which I received a Ticket No. and numerous "auto replies" stating they received my email and would be in contact in 24-72 hours. At first they did actually contact me only to say they needed pics of damage and Serial No.

plate, which I promptly sent. After a week, I emailed again and, after waiting another week for a response, was asked again for the Serial No. plate. Again, I sent it a second time.

And yet again, I sent it a third time. Now I can't get any response, only auto replies that say--we'll be in touch. At first my complaint was the damage of appearance. However, after only have the unit a month, it's making loud noises and I now believe there may be mechanical damage as well.

Very frustrating to be ignored. I will be filing a complaint with my Attorney General.

Before purchasing a pool cover I called the company to give description, dimensions and location of steps. The man on the phone gave me a part number and told me that was the one I needed. After spending $820 and having all information on hand I was convinced they had sent me the correct one. Well, think again, I received the top and the steps were in the wrong side. I called them and they are taking no responsibility for their mistake. The company is charging me 20% restocking fee if I return it and I have to pay $145.00 shipping to send it back.

It has been a nightmare...I just burst into tears not understanding why business do customers this way....I saw a beautiful loveseat and Sofa...I thought this was going to be simple....purchase /deliver and brand new.....instead it's been delayed/damaged/constant emails daily/no refund/no pickup/frustration/humiliation/lost of money and broken spirit not to trust online shopping now.

Tme.The Sofa came to me SERAN WRAP.....yes I remove the SERAN WRAP to view the Sofa(I put it back like it was sent to me).....I received an email from Tish that appliance connection will not accept it for the carrier for pick up....I don't understand....That is the way it was sent to my Home..

I purchased the set July 19,2021 for $1432.06. I was told by the Sales Person Edward D that both pieces was in stock. So I puchased the set on the phone with Edward D...I was Delivered the Loveseat on July 30,2021....The company Appliances Connection used is Am Home Delivery...which brought me a wrong Sofa.The Delivery Guys told me that the Sofa would be on another Truck..which that information was incorrect..I had to email Both Appliances Connection and Am Home Delivery the same day the Loveseat arrived...After the mixed up..I wa assured that the Sofa would be Delivered the following Friday...Which they confirmed the Delivery and sent a text to me to confirmed...Friday came ...An hour before The sofa to be delivered to my Home...I was called by Am Home Delivery Adriane that my Sofa would not be Delivered...she will update me later the reason why...I called almost everyday to both companies...Appliances Connection was telling me that both pieces was Delivered to me....That is what Am Home Delivery put in their system..which that information was incorrect..This went on for about 2 -3 weeks...I was also told they could not find the Sofa....So I ask for Refund back..Then a week prior to August 20...I was Delivered the Purple Casilda Sofa...The Sofa came to me wrapped in Saran wrap...I unwrapped it to find that it had Holes in the Sofa/It is Dirty/Torn/And The Sofa did not come with Sofa Legs/It is always missing 1 pillow...I followed up with Both companies..Appiances Connection offered a Refund after a Carrier is to pickup this Sofa....I have close to 300 emails with this company Appliances Connection.

I am being told now that the Carrier is back up and they don't when they are schedule for pickup....I am not receiving a Refund until the carrier comes for pickup for the Sofa..So I started reading reviews on the internet and Facebook on both Companies....They are awful...I feel robbed.....I feel like both companies have been treating people this way for quite sometime...Its down right dishonest and disrespectful and they have been getting away with it...I just feel to tell my story...how frustrating this became .And the wait time on both companies is almost 1-2 hours...I have been caller number 30 or above...So they get several calls everyday...People have been waiting 6 months to a 1 year on their merchandise or refund...Half the furniture they send out is Damaged....Why does a company do buyers like me this way? People need to be warned of both companies...so they won't end up like me.

Horrible communications and customer service

After waiting 10 months for a built in fridge/freezer combo with trim kit. I got a call from a third party trucking company that the order was being delivered...nothing from Appliances Connection.

The truck arrived this morning with 1 part of the order only. I had called Appliances Connection yesterday, 1-3-22, to confirm the order was complete and was told it was.

I refused delivery of the single unit and called AC to find out what was going on.

They said they would work with me and try to get the freezer and trim kit by the end of the week. They said they had a freezer in their warehouse they could send. I asked for the serial number of the unit and was told they dont open products and dont know the serial numbers....I knew then that there was no freezer and they just wanted to get the fridge delivered and invoiced.

They then said if i dont take delivery now, it will be months until I may get the full order.

I have ordered $30,000 wothj of appliances from them for my new home and everything has been problematic. I learned my lesson to buy local from now on...UGHHHHHHH

Late delivery, damaged product, no refund

I spent $3,000 buying a washer dryer from Appliances Connection and placed my order on 9/12/2021. The appliances were deliver 2 weeks later than originally communicated.

It then took an additional 3 weeks (and 8 calls) for them to send someone to install it. Since those 2 things were supposed to happen together, my effective delivery was 5 weeks late.

The installers determined that the washer is damaged because the shipping struts on it don't come out. When I reached out to Appliance Connection, they said they need to do a second verification of the damage even though their own installers said it was in fact damaged. I was told it would take 2-3 days to make the second assessment but its now been 3.5 weeks and I keep getting bounced from agent to agent with no resolution.

I have been stuck with a damaged product for over a month and am unable to do laundry at home for 2+ months because of this company's incompetence.

We have a little toddler at home and our health is suffering as a result of this issue. We will never use this company again!

This response is factually incorrect. This is not a warranty issue at all since the appliance was delivered damaged.

The company has agreed that they will take the item back, which proves that they admit the their fault. However, after close to a month, they still haven't picked up the damaged item.

Mislead by salesperson

I had ordered a 48" vent hood and duct cover that was on back order. The salesman told me he had another mfg that could ship the hood and duct cover within 10 days. The hood was delivered on 8-2-21 without the stainless steel duct cover. Multiple calls and emails have been a waste of time. The hood is worthless without the duct cover and has been sitting in my house for almost 3 months. I am now trying to return the hood and am getting lots of run around. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

Purchased most expensive washer and dryer set. Salesperson did not advise on additional costs involved with shipping and installation (no power cord!). Shipping was heavily delayed and impossible to predict (unreasonably long delay). Canceled washer order. Product arrived damaged and non-functioning (water stains on back and bent frame). Company has advised me to return on my own or exercise my warranty with the manufacturer. They simply do not care and are uncooperative. Appliances Connection failed on all fronts. They are connected with Goedekers, so do your research.

This company is a nightmare. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM OR YOU WILL BE REGRETFUL.

I ordered an outdoor fireplace from their website in June of 2020.

They attempted to deliver the order six times and each time there was an issue, such as they didn't have the item on the truck, there were not enough delivery people, the white glove delivery service which I paid for was not on the order, etc. After being given excuses by this company multiple times, the item was finally delivered at the end of November 2020.

The company sent a fireplace that was not pictured on their website and is now claiming that there was an "image disclaimer" on their website. It's the classic bait and switch. They marketed a product they had no intention of selling and replaced that product with what could possibly be a counterfeit product.

They will knowingly send you the wrong product and mislead you into believing you will receive what you ordered.

Their website is deceptive and they are intentionally so. I am shocked that this company is even in business. If you peruse their reviews, you will find they have a history of misrepresenting and delivering used, subpar products to people's homes.

I sent numerous emails and called several times to request that Appliances Connection remedy the situation. They did not respond until my credit card company reversed the charge and began an investigation.

Then an associate named Wellington Chen replied and proceeded to act like a pathetic bully, more like an annoying fly, claiming that the item was the item I ordered even though there was no picture of that item anywhere on their website and that there was an "image disclaimer " on their site.

It is hard to believe that there is an ignorant, stupid joke of a person in existence , but yes, it is true. This company is an absolute joke and I urge you, for your own piece of mind, do not have any dealings with this company and warn others about them so they finally go out of business and stop swindling people.

their delivery is VERY BAD, i paid for ALL their delivery options and bought their kits they said i needed and the dish washer came with a plug in and mine was hard wired, im 76 years old have owned many houses and have got 3 new dishers for this house and have NEVER seen a plug in dishwasher, then they tell me i should have known, the first so called rep was DIAgo and he was very rude and is not good for any co, and next was Allan and he was nicer but was very wrong to say that 95% of dishwashers were plug in, and said I should have known what i needed

Being Called a Liar and Unprofessional

BUYER BEWARE - I requested a price match as was sent a message back saying I was not in an eligible address per LG.com and even sent a screen shot. I had to send 2 screen shots back and argue to get it.

When I asked about possibly matching LG's Free Delivery, Free Setup and Free Haul away the agent had the nerve to insinuate I was lying and that LG does not offer this service. Again, I had to send 3 screen shots back showing I was correct asking why they could not simply read the attachments or go to LG.com and scroll down. Then I notice they charged me for 2 power cords when I ordered one. I was so angry at being called a liar and them saying how they input the zip in wrong the first time I said never mind and cancel the order.

So because of their unprofessional and untrained staff I am being charged shipping of something I don't even want.

Oh and as far as their rewards program where you earn points, that's bogus, I still don't have my points from November. Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere and if you want to see our conversation for proof ask me, I have screen shots of everything.

Bought LG dishwasher with 10 years warranty at the end of 2014. The warranty was only stated on receipt so I thought it was in house warranty. Nothing else was supplied to me. Come to find out that warranty is external company warranty ASA and since I did not register it since the warranty card was not supplied to me to register the warranty is worthless as a paper it was written on. Now I am being denied warranty because of that. Ho help from the customer service. Basically they put me on ignore.

Here is what I have copied from the receipt - "You must register your warranty within 30 days of your delivery in order to receive coverage." Even when unit is covered with manufacturer warranty, customer needs to call and register serial number within 30 days.

We have all the paperwork from 2014 that was sent to your address, receipt and warranty information were included. We apologize for the inconvenience, Thank you, Customer Service

You are lying again, I have an original receipt and the second/separate receipt that say 10 year warranty on it. It does not say to register and it DOESN'T have warranty number on it either.

It looks like a store warranty. I can scan it and sent it to you.

Hello, we have all the documents that were mailed to you in the system, including warranty information. You can continue threatening our company in the ticket: "I am sure I can find more sites to post your NEGATIVE review".

However, there is nothing that can be done from our side, because warranty had to be registered 5 years ago by customer. We do not have access to what our customers do after we send out warranty information.

It is written on every page that warranty needs to be registered within 30 days. Stay safe and well, Customer Service

You can say whatever you want but the warranty card was NOT mailed to me. And it is not written on every page that warranty has to be registered.

Take a look at the scanned and included warranty document. Here what it says: Associated Service Corporation 10 year Major Component Warranty. And in a very small print (that no one can read): "If you opted for extended warranty it will be pre-registered but you have to log-in with in 30 days". I did not opt-in for extended warranty and did not pay for it.

Above line doesn't say that ASA warranty is extended. So it looks like a store warranty. In fact I have email from your Customer Service saying that I did not buy extended warranty. And since you did not send me warranty card with ASA warranty number I did not know what to do.

That is why I did not register. You also say that you have all documentation what you send me yet after all these months you did not send me copy of that card. And I also call ASA and was told that there is no pre-registration so you did not pre-registered my warranty. You didn't even send me email saying so.

So obviously you don't have the card you send me or even a copy of it. At this point this conversation is pointless. I will not be responding to your lies. Just take a look at all the review sites.

You have hundreds if not thousands negative reviews. So I am not the only one who got screwed.

I already reached the warranty company and your customer service. Warranty company told me that since I did not register I don't have warranty which is your fault because you did not supply the warranty registration number.

And your customer service doesn't even reply.

Why am I telling you all of this since you already knew before you even left this comment. That makes you a liar.

Horrible delivery and service experience

It's several weeks after the supposed delivery window, we are spending a lot of money dealing with remodeling delay because of the missing appliances. One item out of 5 was delivered but damaged - shipping material broken, item bent and cracked. And now we are asked to pay for shipping back for replacement. We have spent hours on the phone "on hold", sent so many emails back and forth and all we get is "we are looking into it" and that we are responsible for replacement shipping costs. Despicable.

I mistakenly ordered a dual fuel range when it turns out I cannot use gas. I had paid for their white glove service so the delivery company unpacked and took packing materials away.

I have contacted the company many times, on hold 15-20 min each time to arrange to return. 1st time, we will send u an email, which tells me that because I had paid them for white glove they were going to charge me 30% restocking plus 150 to return. I have repeated tried to discuss this outrageous charge by calling when they continue to tell me they will send me an email. The email I get is a firm email to review my interaction.

I keep responding that I dont know HOW to return it since it needs to be packed again since I paid for white glove and they took packing materials away. I get another survey Then I get an email asking that I inform them of the tracking number. I keep calling AND responding via email that I dont know HOW to send it back. The range cost me $2700 plus white glove service and will cost me at least $1000 to return.

At this point I just want to know. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! If everything goes perfectly, you would be happy, but if not, it seems not possible to get anyone to take care of a problem or even communicate with. As an additional slight, the original order included a dishwasher that was on back order.

I had paid for white glove for that too but the delivery left it at the door and wouldnt bring it in.

What was I thinking ordering an appliance online? Dont make the same mistake!

Re above review: Appliances connection reached out to me and asked me what I would consider fair. I told them and they agreed.

They came and picked up the oven and issued me a credit. So I am revising my review saying that once they paid attention, they did the right thing and I am now happy.

I made the same mistake by purchasing a refrigerator from this pathetic horrible company. I called less than 24 hours after making the online transaction and was informed by a customer service rep Reeshemah who advised me I would receive an email from her that would begin the cancellation process.

Anyone considering buying anything from this company will regret ever making a buying decision. This company is unethical, dishonest, and should be shut down for stealing money from hardworking people.
