First the delivery with White Glove and Installation. Brought dryer vent not to code and had no idea how to install the units.

Had me sign for the units and said they would credit me for the installation. As to the white glove delivery, they left boxes and Styrofoam all over my lawn. Never got the credit and the company said because I signed the units must have been installed. The responses were downright nasty.

Had to go to the State's Attorney, BBB and credit card company to get the credit. When I finally got an installer the dryer made a crashing sound. Contacted Appliances Connection who said I was past the 30 day return period and to call the Maytag Warranty people. Maytag came today and said that the unit must have been dropped of the truck as it was in pieces inside and the motor was not salvageable.

Back to arguing with Appliances Connection, which I am sure will go nowhere. I have already contacted BBB, State's Attorney and my credit card company. Lots of work for an expensive unit that has never worked. Luckily I have the Maytag guy, my plumber and my daughter as credible witness.

Probably in a couple of years, I'll have a working dryer!!

I am SO going local. Worth the extra $100 not to be completely ripped off.
